Here lies poor Lucas, he thought he was a cow,
It was a silly thing to think, and he’s a burger now.

Here lies poor Mabel, who died whilst turning tricks,
Who only proved the Bible right, so please don’t trick against the pricks.

The epitaph is something at which the English excel, whether the deceased be real, fictional or indeterminate.
